AutomotiveStreetStyle.com and Wheel Concepts Nation Make New York Custom Car Show History



Automotive website AutomotiveStreetStyle.com and Wheel Concepts Nation present the New York City Custom Auto Show the first custom car show ever held in Manhattan.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 21, 2008 -- AutomotiveStreetStyle.com and Wheel Concepts Nation hosted the New York City Custom Auto Show (NYCCAS), the largest custom auto show in New York City history on Sunday, May 19th 2008 at Pier 94. Over 4,000 people attended the first custom car show of its kind ever hosted in Manhattan. Martin Cadillac and Rides were presenting sponsors of the New York City Custom Auto Show.

The show was a huge success with over 400 highly customized cars and members from the largest car clubs in the Tri-State area. The NYCCAS boasted 5 auto pavilions with luxury/exotics, import tuners, classic, after-market customs, trucks, SUVs and Donks.

"This week we launched the revised AutomotiveStreetStyle.com site, rolled out our new interactive trailer and also made history by producing the New York City Custom Auto Show, that's a good week for us." said former NBA star Jerome "JYD" Williams owner of AutomotiveStreetStyle.com. "New York car enthusiasts have their own style and have wanted a car show in the city for years," he added. "Leave it to Wheel Concepts Nation and AutomotiveStreetStyle.com to make it happen."

New York celebrities with a passion for cars dropped through the show to check out the custom car action. Celebrities that attended included recent Donald Trump Celebrity Apprentice and actor Stephen Baldwin, Hip Hop stars such as Yung Berg, Maino, Buckshot, Marley Marl and closed with Hip Hop Virtuoso and automotive aficionado Swizz Beats.

AutomotiveStreetStyle.com also rolled out their brand new 45' interactive trailer that was positioned next to the Cooper sound stage. The double stack trailer is equipped with two 42" Plasma TVs, sound system, DVD players, Nintendo Wii and a VIP filming lounge.

Former NBA star Jerome Williams connected with Rob Gullery and Wheel Concepts while playing for the New York Knicks and filming his former cable broadcast show "Make it Hot". The two have continued to grow their partnership expanding their passion for the automotive industry into improving AutomotiveStreetStyle.com, producing three custom car shows in the Tri-State area and rolling out an interactive trailer tour.
